I am so excited to finally be wearing skirts and dresses again ,without having to cover my legs with tights or stockings. So did you already start stocking up for the latest summer trends on skirts and dresses ?

All of them are very trendy and inspired from the latest streetstyles and runways. So if you are a fashion savy like me Choies is the perfect place to shop all your fashion needs. This summer I have a penchant for retro-like textured printed dresses and bold bright floral dresses. I love the style that has mixtures of prints  because it is unique and eye catching. Its very artistic too, to have mixtures of different prints and textures in one apparel or an outfit. I think it adds character to a look. Another trend that I'm drooling on is the assymetrical culottes that I  showed above. I love the overlapping style, the assymetrical hem, the simplicity, versatility and the edginess that it brings of this skirt. Im so inspired of minimalism look right now and this skirt is perfect to achieve that .
You don't have to sacrifice your wallet for fashion because Choies have affordable trendy products, shipping si free worldwide with no minimum purchase, and they have promotions time to time. Right now they give you $15 store credit just for signing up ! How cool is that.

Ombre hair and ombre shirt

Hi beauties ! Its been awhile I haven't done OOTD....just been crazy busy with stuffs going around the house. One of the things I did ,was doing some spring cleaning on my sons room, from his clothes that he grows out with and toys that have been broken and some that he didn't play with it anymore. As I go through all his stuffs, I just can't believe how they grow so fast , how quick their transition and their change of interest on quite a few things. Its amazing how this little peanut, once in my womb and now , a bright ,bubbly and happy go lucky five year old kid, with so many questions about everything and very curios about every little thing. Just one example, my husband told me after he had put our son to bed, He said our son asked him how did we get light , then my hubby answered , its from electricity, then what is electricity...so and so forth follow up question and answer portion. Then even sometimes I found myself not able to answer some questions! and I will just go...."oh mommy will have to do some  research about that or I will just go " oh look at the sky isn't it beautiful " some sort of distraction. I feel kind of guilty about the latter part. Kids nowadays are so bright, its amazing and Im so proud him.
Now lets talk about my OOTD, what do you guys think of my new ombre shirt ?  I love the subtle floral details and most of all its ombre which matches my new ombre hair. I love that this shirt could in be worn in different ways , with shorts or long pants . Since Im petite Im planning to wear it as a dress too by putting a belt on it...I just need to have short shorts underneath or else my bare butt cheeks will be all over the place....ain't too modest for mommy.
Anyways, I don't want to keep you long. I hope you guys had a great weekend and may all of us have a great week ahead.....thanks for reading !

Throwback Thursday : Disney Fantasy

Photo Diary
May of 2012 , We went to experience our first 7 days Eastern Carribean family cruise, the inaugural launch of  Disney Fantasy Lucas was so excited and gleaming with happiness. He was all smiles, full of energy and non-stop activity. Nothing makes a parent more happier than seeing their child's enthusiasm and enjoying what life has to offer for them. This vacation week was also a big surprise coz its when we found out I was pregnant with my  now 3 months old baby Livy.
A Toy Story fanatic he is ,  Our first stop was Andy's Room, there he was  greeted by  Rex one of the Toy Story character. He jumped at his back like a flash and said " Mommy you have to take my picture with Rex! " Then he posed, just like that ...pretty much trained eh?!

A dream is a wish your heart makes, when your fast asleep....

I dream to go back in these tropical islands... Castaway Cay

This is one of the beaches at St. Maarten. The next island we stopped was St. Thomas but I was terribly sick to take pictures . I guess 7 days cruise was too long for a preggy me.

Water spots on my lens, did you notice it?

It was definitely a fun filled experience for all of us. Tons of activity for kids and adults, I swear to God I couldn't keep up with all the fun activities they offer. There is always something to do, my super energetic son never got bored, when its bedtime he was out in a snap! The service? Thumbs up. They are all friendly and accommodating. Our waiters is ahead of us of what we need. They even cut up the food for him, every dinner time.
They also have a daycare that you can drop off your kids on certain schedules, so that you can do adult stuff. They give your child some activities  and projects. Another cool thing about it too, they gave you a cellphone, that only works around the ship of course and they will update you about anything or whether your child wanted to be picked up. Overall our trip was definitely fantastic and memorable. Im glad we did this on the first few weeks of  my pregnancy because afterwards I  was busy preparing for the coming baby and then taking care of the baby afterwards. So we were glad we were able to do this trip. After the trip , Lucas just raving about how great his vacation was and he wanted to go back there again!
So there, a little sneak peak of my personal life. Aside from fashion, I also love to talk and share to you a bit pieces of my life as a mother, our travels and just about anything goes.
Thank you so much for reading and have a great day my beauties!

2013 Summer Trends I love

Hi beauties ! Summer is just around the corner, few  more months from now and we will be enjoying the  warmer temperature and the beautiful sunlight, with that, lets all start shopping for stylish summer essentials and trendy pieces. Here are the collections I put together from this trendy apparel  store, CHOIES .

Look 1: Modern Baroque

This is a perfect outfit for a movie date night with my hubby. I love the baroque prints of this shorts and top combo, it is rich, classy and edgy ,it reminds me of Balmain . I think I cant go wrong by pairing this pieces with a studded  bag , round sunnies , and cut out heels, I love that it is a pointy toe, for a petite girl like me giving an illusion of height and long legs is definitely a must.

Look 2: Casual Vintage
Nothing is more comfy in the summer than a pair of denim shorts. I would love to wear this outfit for shopping, festivals and fairs ,weekend brunch , parks....anywhere actually, as long as there is no restriction from wearing distressed shorts. To amped up the look and make it chic, I love this polka dot vintage blouse to go with it and a fun jelly bag. For added comfort, you gotta have this stylish ankle strap sandals. I have seen a lot of street style bloggers wearing this style of sandals and its so chic. You don't have to sacrifice chic for comfort. This outfit is all in one.

Look 3: Chess Print

I LOVE this dress...its a Louis Vuitton S/S 13 inspired chess print dress. Retro chic .
Louis Vuitton S/S13
Look 4: Vibrant Colors

I love the revival of the retro-mod look, inspired by the playful side of bold rich prints and colors. I love this statement outfit to wear  on summer parties, get together with your girls or your Friday casual office attire.

Look 5: Black, white and clear plastic

I love this trend, such a clean look. I think anybody can pull off a black and white outfit. Its simple and basic. I love the design of the mesh hem of this dress, its unexpected, modern and youthful. Pairing it with transparent clear sandals is just perfect to go with the dress. Now I'm ready to paint the town red with this black and white ensemble. You don't have to bare all to be sexy. Less is more.
So what do you guys think ? Do you like the pieces I put together ? Do you have any summer fashion trends do you like to share?
For more trendy and stylish apparel...shop at CHOIES. There are so many to choose from and they have new products coming every week. Aside from ladies fashion they also offer men's fashion.
Have pleasant day everyone!

Speaking of Spring.....its time to do some spring cleaning and organization. I already did half of my stuff as well as my kids stuff. Such a wonderful feeling to get things done right?
