Phillip Lim for Target

Two weeks ago was the launching of the limited edition of Phillip Lim for Target collaboration. I was one of those people who woke so up early just to snag similar designs of Phillip Lim's luxury "it" bags. I have to say that at first look they are immaculately beautiful in person but when I examined it , the stitches are off, but I still bought them. I figured I would just make it as my everyday bag, like a lazy run to the grocery stores or pharmacy. Lo and behold , 6 days later the lock magnet came off. This is the soonest ever in my life that a bag broke . I was in dismay, since I LOVE the design. I love the  details  and the pocketing of the bag. Like what they say, you get what you pay for! but only a week of love affair with this bag is totally uncalled for. The day after the broken lock, I still manage to wear it to my friend's birthday party to pair it with Phillip Lim's printed skirt. I LOVE the skirt, I get lots of compliment of it. I was planning to fix the lock of the bag, but when I got home, the stitching is starting to come off. So I have to say good bye and nice to have you around for a short while Mr. Lim x Target bag. Maybe I'm just unlucky enough to get the  not so well made product because some of my friends got the same bag as me and theirs are still alive. But anyhow, I LOVE Mr. Lim's Target collection specially this skirt and the blue sweater  which I will make post about it when it's cooler enough to wear it.

notice the un alignment of the bag ? Yup, the lock is broke.

Shop for fall : The Spoiled Girl

It's already September. Yes, the ber months will be parading soon, that means it's going to be chilly pretty much sooner than you think. I have been cleaning up my closet lately and been putting away my summer clothes to give way for fall/winter clothes. Enter coats, sweaters, scarves, dark and bold garments.Honestly, I'm actually excited for  chilly days, it's nice to be back on layering outfits and sporting some boots. I have been spying online for some fall inspirations and window shopping as well. But let's  not also forget to check out our local boutiques, one of them is The Spoiled Girl. They are a one stop trendy apparel store for women. These are  my favorites at the store.

I'm obsessed about black , white and grey contrast color right now. They are so chic for fall and winter, I know some of you are sporting black outfits during winter months. But me personally, I was more into nude and browns. So this time , I'm transitioning to black , white and grey. Here is just a few of my black and white inspiration. Runway style.

Even though I'm going gaga over black and white. Let's not forget to add some splash of color on the soon to be gloomy days . Just like this magenta colorblocked sweater dress. This would be so perfect to pair with these boots.

Denim on Denim

Fall fall fall is almost here, actually some of us  who are living on northern part of the equator might have experienced fall weather already. Fortunately, on this side of the state that I lived, we are still holding up summer weather and while Mr. Sun is still on it, why not take the opportunity to continue wear shorts. In a matter of few days or weeks we are back to long jeans, boots and jackets once again. Enough of the weather and back to the post. Denim on denim, I have seen a lot of street style looks on this, which inspires me to make my own rendition as well. I have to say, this is my favorite summer outfit , I wear this pairings a lot of times anywhere and everywhere because they are very neutral that you can easily play with any shoes, bags and accessories . So finally I have my picture taken on this. I don't normally take outfit pictures everyday or every time I go out, with two kids in tow, it's impossible. So just once a week or if I get lucky, twice a week. I love to chronicle my outfits and I love reading fashion blogs. It's my sweet escape of my busy crazy mommy life. I rarely watch any shows unless if it's a show both me and my husband liked and then we can both watch it together. I don't play candy crush, I don't spend all day on the phone, I only use my computer on my free time, like my kids nap time and bed time. So ,I thought when Lucas starts going to kindergarten, it would be a lot easier in the house hold, but not really, since I have a lot of chores to catch up and plus an 8 month old baby on my side, but it has always been like that. It's like I'm being chase with work , time or it's just me giving myself the pressure to get things done that day. I'm just so lucky to be blessed with a husband who constantly reminds me to slow down and things will eventually get done and come into place. Ever since I became a mom, I have never seen my house super squeaky clean and not get a single mess in not more than 48 hours. So I just have to take a breather, lower my standards a bit and just enjoy the beautiful mess :)

New Hair : The Bob

Hi my lovelies! Long time no see and I'm back with a new do. The bob .I have been dying to get a haircut for months and I finally gathered my strength to go for it. I literally closed my eyes when the stylist cut a big chunk of my mane. As you can see on my previous photos, my hair was super long. Most people cut their hair couple inches at a time, allowing just a  subtle changes. I used to be like that but this time, I step out of my comfort zone , take the plunge and go for it. I know, I know, it's just hair and it will eventually grow. But in a female world , hair plays a vital role. It's a crowning glory. So choosing the right hair style that fits your face, personality and lifestyle has to be taken account and so I decided to go for the bobbed-hair. Why? It is easier to manage , It cuts off my time in getting ready , my hair feels light and free from entangled long tresses , I feel  youthful . I swear, when you have more than one kid, it makes you more resourceful on finding ways to manage time, beauty wise. With this hairstyle, It cuts off more than half of my time in getting ready. Since my hair is so fine, it doesn't take that long to blow dry and since I have bangs, I don't spend so much time on eye make up. So technically, it will only take me 10 minutes tops to get my hair and make up done. That's is why I'm loving this bobbed hair.

So what do you think of my new do ? Have you done any dramatic changes on you hair lately?
