The Crop Top

I love crop tops, there is no doubt that they make a woman feel and look  sexy. I always wanted to wear one since last summer, but then i just had a baby that time and my belly wasn't very forgiving for that kind of style. Even now my belly hasn't really flatten out that much, but it was a little better than last year, oh  don't  react yet. It still need a lot of work. Anyhow, I somehow decided to try to wear a crop top and  I bought it from Express. I paired it with my high waisted colluts to cover-up my belly button and since my torso is short because I'm a short girl, it's not really that cropped, which is good. I think I'm going to call it a peek-a-boo crop top. It's not totally cropped and it only shows a little sliver of your skin, exactly the way I want it. I like to be sexy but not daring. I believe that a person doesn't have to show so much skin to be sexy. I try to keep it balance, if I'm wearing a daring top, I like to wear that with pants, jeans or longer skirts. If I'm wearing shorts, I like to pair it with something conservative on top, like a blouse and shirts with sleeves, a tank top with blazer or cardigan. Something that has more coverage to compensate the exposure of the legs . But then ofcourse,  there is always an exception ,that depends on the occasion and location.Fashion is so universal, you can't really set rules. People do things their way based on their own standards, lifestyle, moods etc.

Life Lately : Spring Break Edition

Just last Spring Break, we went for a mini get-away at Kalahari Water park. It's at Sandusky, Ohio about two hours and a half drive from our house, not bad at all. Since having two kids, I have this phobia of travelling too far. I have this feeling that I might not be able to handle it. My husband always reassures me , that it will be fine. Ever since we had Olivia ( our youngest) he had helped me so much with the kids, he took over some of my motherly duties with Lucas like driving him to school everyday, picking him up too if it's too cold out, tucking him to bed and basically played with Lucas all the time, they are like best buddies in their own little boys world . Steve (my hubby) and Lucas became more closer than ever ,since Olivia was born .I  really feel greatful and blessed. It takes a LOT of work and patience of having kids. So having a partner who tremendously helped me with the kids is definitely more than i can ask for. I don't know how i may sound to you , but just allow me to express my emotions in this little blog of how proud I am of my husband (I know, I'm cheesy like that) Ofcourse, Like any other happily married couple, life is not always a bed of roses but what matters most is that at the end of the day , you know there is somebody  who always cares for you and love you with all their heart.

Now let's talk about Kalahari Resort , it's an African Safari theme water park . It's one of the biggest indoor and outdoor water park in America. Since it was still cold when we went there, we only get to use to indoor water park, but even that itself it's already huge. They have 19 amusement rides they have some for smaller kids , big kids and adults. Me and Olivia's favorite is the Lazy River , obviously she is still a baby so floating on top of an inter tube is the most we can do as of the moment.  Lucas's favorite is the Wave Pool, him and his dad went there numerous times. He likes the slides but not as much as the Wave Pool, I think he get a little bit scared of the slides. Kalahari have so much to offer for everyone , there is always something to do, that at the end of the day , you get really tired and the kids were out in a snap.

We played at least two hours in the Arcade

We also played mini bowling

We also took a little ride to Frankenmuth . A little German Village in Michigan , we had popcorn , french macarons and a chocolate fudge. They make the best chocolate fudge.

It was tons of fun , Kalahari is definitely well suited for families.  I wish I had more pictures though but with two little kids, it's hard to keep up.

Thank you so much for reading and Have a great day!

Golden Glam

camera used : Samsung S3 , unedited ,unfiltered and under daylight lighting

Hi my lovelies!  Today , I want to share with you  the products i used to achieved this Gold Smokey Eye and also my thoughts about each one of them. I'm not a beauty expert nor claiming to be one but I just love to share with you my girly girl passion and one of them is make up ofcourse. I believed in a saying that goes
" Natural is beautiful but make up is glam ".

For the face I'm using the Dior Air flash. Eversince I used this product ,my face always have that airbrush look and it stays longer. I don't have to retouched my make up or even worry about my face becoming shiny at the end of the day. Most of all it's not cakey either , it gives me full coverage, it's hypo allergenic so that means you will not break out. I didn't and my skin is very super sensitive when it comes to foundation. The only con about this product, its pricey. But  a little goes a long way.

For the golden smokey eye  I'm using Urban Decay Naked 1- I love this palette because it's very versatile, you can create a lot of looks for this palette from everyday look to glam look

The palette I used on :

the crease- Naked
the inner half lid - Half Baked
outer half lid - Dark Horse
corner of the eye - Buck
outer  half of the under eye line all the way the center - Dark Horse
inner  half of the under eye line all the way the center - Half Baked
upper eyeliner - Dark Horse

Too Faced Natural Face - everything  in one to achieve that natural face glow with precise highlighting and contouring, it makes your face slender.

On this palette I used :

Luminizer - on the bridge of the nose
bronzer - the sides of the nose

* both luminizer and bronzer gives an illusion of a slender nose

For the concealer, blush and bronzer :

I finished it up with pink matte lipstick. I love matte because they look so natural .

Kitten Heels

Enzo Angiolini shoes

I love the comeback of  kitten heels with pointy toes. They are sexy, elegant and most of all very comfortable as compared to high heels. For a mom like me, who tags along kids wherever she goes , who likes to dressed up but don't want to sacrifice comfort. Kitten heels is my go to accessory. I've been wearing them a lot ever since I bought them and i believe, this one I'm wearing now by Enzo Angiolini  was the first that I own. Let just say your day  requires you to be on your feet most hours of the day and yet you want stay chic and comfy at the same time, kitten heels is perfect instead of wearing flats or why even sacrifice yourself with sky high heels. So many options and so versatile, that's why I love them.
